For Diplomates with Certificates Valid from 1999 to 2009
CME:
- All must be in Category 1
- 80% must be related to radiation therapy or oncology
The American Board of Radiology has recently added a provision to the current MOC participation policy regarding the number of years that can be "made up" in MOC requirements. This new provision allows you to complete and record triple (up to three years) the annual MOC requirement in one calendar year. For more information please see the Participation Policy Proviso .

1 For CME credits earned in the years before full MOC implementation, diplomates should keep documentation and enter this participation into their personal password-protected files on the ABR interactive website in 2007.
NOTE: CME credits and SAMs need not be done in the precise year specified in the table; however, diplomates are advised that they should spread their work as evenly as possible over the years of the MOC cycle, and not earn it all in relatively short intervals (e.g., at the beginning of the cycle, at the end of the cycle, or just before exam registration).
