Computer-based Practice Exam and Technical Self-Check

Last verified on December 23, 2020

The practice exam is only available to candidates who are currently registered for an upcoming computer-based exam and can be accessed on the Cognitive Expertise page in myABR.

We recommend candidates complete the computer-based practice exam and technical self-check in the location and with the computer that they plan to use on exam day.

The computer-based practice exam provides a unique opportunity for candidates to familiarize themselves with the exam interface and navigation before the day of their exam. Completing the practice exam is important to fully understand the functionality of the exam interface including case navigation, flagging questions, using the image manipulation tools, starting/ending a break and question content blocking.

When the practice exam is launched, a quick technical check is initiated to ensure the microphone, camera, internet connection and computer software are optimized for the exam. You may need to download an updated version of Google Chrome or the Proctorio® extension for Google Chrome to complete the technical self-check.

An answer key, which can be printed, has been provided for the practice exam.
