American Board of Radiology Appoints New Trustee for Interventional Radiology

The American Board of Radiology (ABR) has appointed Anne M. Covey, MD, FSIR, to its Board of Trustees, effective October 23, 2017. Dr. Covey will replace Jeanne M. LaBerge, MD, as one of the ABR’s three trustees for interventional radiology.
Interventional Radiology/Diagnostic Radiology An interventional radiologist combines competence in imaging, image-guided minimally invasive procedures, and periprocedural patient care to diagnose and treat benign and malignant conditions of the thorax, abdomen, pelvis, and extremities.
