Initial Certification Exams

2020

All IR/DR Initial Certifying exams originally scheduled for 2020 have been postponed to 2021 and will be offered remotely. Final dates and details for these exams will be provided by August 1, 2020. Please see ABR Coronavirus Information for the latest updates.

MOC Exam

Please Note: Beginning in 2018, interventional radiology/diagnostic radiology (IR/DR) diplomates who need to take a traditional MOC Exam will take only the IR portion of the IR/DR Certifying Exam. If a Subspecialty MOC Exam is needed, IR/DR diplomates will take the DR Certifying Exam and select the subspecialty area for all elective modules.
