Diagnostic Radiology

A diagnostic radiologist uses x-rays, radionuclides, ultrasound, and electromagnetic radiation to diagnose and treat disease. Diagnostic radiologists may also obtain subspecialty certification in hospice and palliative medicine, neuroradiology, nuclear radiology, pain medicine, and pediatric radiology.
