Scam Alert: Diplomates Receiving Fake ABR Calls

Scam Alert: Diplomates Receiving Fake ABR Calls

A few of our diplomates recently received calls from someone claiming to be from the ABR regarding fee payment. The person, who identified herself as “Pam,” asked for fee payment over the phone.

This is a fraud; the person calling is not affiliated with the ABR. Billing statements are posted on diplomates’ myABR accounts and payment information is never collected over the phone by ABR representatives.

Anyone with questions about this or any other certification-related subject should contact one of our certification services managers at (520) 790-2900 or information@theabr.org.
