Important dates for diplomates with a VIR subspecialty certificate

October 14, 2017: This was the last day to decline conversion of your Diagnostic Radiology (DR) and Vascular and Interventional Radiology (VIR) certificates to the new continuous Interventional Radiology/Diagnostic radiology (IR/DR) specialty certificate.

October 15, 2017: Certificate conversion began.

October 16, 2017: Certificate conversion completed; issue date of the first IR/DR certificates.

The ABR will order your new IR/DR certificate, and our printer will mail it directly to you. To ensure your information is accurate, please complete any necessary name and/or address updates in myABR as soon as possible.
