OLA Prelaunch Starts Next Month for IR, MP, and RO Diplomates

Interventional radiology, medical physics, and radiation oncology diplomates will have the opportunity to test drive Online Longitudinal Assessment (OLA) starting next month. OLA, a new way to satisfy Part 3 of Maintenance of Certification (MOC), will be available for practice during a prelaunch for those three disciplines beginning November 4.
OLA starts on January 6 for IR, MP, and RO diplomates participating in MOC. OLA began this past January for diagnostic radiology diplomates and those with DR subspecialty certificates.
During the prelaunch, diplomates will be able to access the OLA site to answer practice questions and gain familiarity with the system. Our staff has provided hands-on OLA demonstrations this year at annual meetings for AAPM, ASTRO, and SIR. We are also attending RSNA in December.
Anyone with questions about the new system is invited to visit our OLA page, which includes numerous FAQs. We also have an informative video and recorded webinar. Live webinars are scheduled for the week after the prelaunch begins. Visit here to sign up.
We also have posted numerous OLA blogs, including extended response times in 2020, how to provide feedback, the ability to decline questions, and options available when diplomates meet their yearly progress requirement. Anyone with questions is invited to contact us at information@theabr.org or (520) 790-2900.
