I didn’t get my invitation. When do you mail them?
Computer-based Exams Diagnostic Radiology Core and Certifying exam invitations are sent via email approximately three months prior to the exam. Radiation Oncology Qualifying Exam (Medical Physics for Radiation Oncology, Radiation and Cancer Biology, and Clinical Radiation Oncology) invitations are sent via email approximately two months prior to the exam. Medical Physics Part 1 and Part 2 exams invitations are sent via email approximately two months prior to the exam. Oral Exams Invitations are sent approximately 5 months prior to the exam. If you receive your letter noting receipt of your registration and we have not contacted you further (e.g., because we do not need any more information), that means you are on schedule. Expect your invitation within the five-month time frame. Please note that it is your responsibility to ensure that your mailing address and email address are correct in myABR.Did you get my registration/payment?
If you are a candidate for certification in diagnostic radiology, interventional radiology/diagnostic radiology, or radiation oncology, you have registered in myABR, so you will know when your registration has been submitted. You will receive an email confirming that payment has been received, as well as an email confirmation after the ABR has approved your registration.What if I want to take a subspecialty exam? Will I receive an invitation?
You will not receive an invitation to take a subspecialty exam. You must submit your application, the required documentation, and your fee payment during the registration period. You will receive a confirmation email when your registration has been approved. Prior to the exam date, you will receive further information.When will I get my exam results?
