American Board of Radiology Announces Changes to its Boards

Several changes have occurred following the meetings of the ABR Board of Governors (BOG) and the ABR Board of Trustees (BOT) at the end of September.
New BOG Officers include Brent J. Wagner, MD, president, and Vincent P. Mathews, MD, president-elect. Lisa A. Kachnic, MD, immediate past president of the BOG, will be serving one post-presidency year.
Rotating off the BOG were Donald P. Frush, MD (who also served as chair of the BOT); Mary C. Mahoney, MD; and Matthew A. Mauro, MD.
Moving from the BOT to the BOG are Cheri L. Canon, MD, FACR, and John A. Kaufman, MD. They have been replaced on the BOT, respectively, by Desiree E. Morgan, MD, from the University of Alabama, Birmingham, and M. Victoria Marx, MD, from the University of Southern California.
Lane F. Donnelly, MD, and Lynn D. Wilson, MD, MPH, rotated off the BOT. They were replaced respectively by David B. Larson, MD, Stanford University, and Andrea K. Ng, MD, MPH, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Stephen F. Simoneaux, MD, from Emory University, also joined the BOT, replacing Donald P. Frush, MD.
The new chair of the BOT is Donald J. Flemming, MD, and he will serve on both boards in this capacity.
